Axe your Ex TV Reality Show on Channel V! India is Shameful and Disgusting.

I watched one of the episodes of ‘Axe your Ex‘ on Channel V not knowing what to expect but it’s dreadful to have this trash on TV.
This Show glorifies losers, who can’t even digest a break up. And take revenge on their Ex by humiliating them with hidden cameras, in some cases even kidnapping their Ex by slipping a black cloth around their head and asking them to do embarrassing things at gun point. I think this show goes too far. As a film maker myself I know for the fact that this reality show is a 100% scripted and everyone in it are acting. But what gets me angry is that the show doesn’t send the most positive or even remotely entertaining message to viewers.
I Live in England and currently in Mumbai for 3 weeks and every time I watch Indian television, It makes me very very angry that Media in India is on absolutely wrong path. Majority section of the Indian media is full of unethical and cheap guys with no moral values. Especially the news media which I find Immature, cheap, ill informed. Till date I can’t believe that I saw a 30 min interview with women in a village who turns in to a snake ones a while. Oh and how can one forget the braking news of the REAL footage of Aliens abducting Indian cows?

The problem with Indian television is that there is no censor board for Indian television and that’s why such a sleaze like Channel V’s Axe your Ex on goes unchecked on television.
Right of expression does not mean to poke your (media) nose in private affairs, it is most disgusting part of liberalisation.

All I can say is that this show is horrendous garbage! And channel V! Should be ashamed for allowing this to air.

The hypocritical BBC showcasing the underbelly of India?

The media including BBC should hang their head in shame reporting negative aspects about India. The opening ceremony was truly spectacular.
It is very unfortunate to see such an article from a BBC presenter on the day India showed the world its rich heritage, diversity and culture.
We all are aware that there are social issues in India that we have to deal with and we will deal with them. it is just a matter of time. One has to appreciate that most of the middle class you see today was not a part of the middle class few years ago. I really don’t understand the intent of the article. More than 50% of the space is dedicated for the poverty of India, in an article about the opening ceremony of the games.

Mr.Tom Fordyce’s outlook is extremely shallow and unbalanced. i think western media should stop stereo typing india as they would like to see it..there is more to india than shanty towns or cows on streets.

MR Fordyce if you are interested in reporting/ teaching lesson in morals. then write an article about sports UK played in iraq n afghanistan – which actually isn’t still won.

i also have a Question to all those British athletes who stayed back due to security concerns in India. US has issued travel warning to whole of Europe, are you all going to move out of Europe now?

I am really upset and demand an formal apology from Mr.Tom Fordyce on this irresponsible and insensitive reporting.

Cornwall, England July 2010 Canon 500D Video test

I shot this in Cornwall, England in July 2010 for testing the video option of my new Canon Rebel T1i / EOS 500D camera. It’s shot on 720 HD at 30 fps

Lenses used
18-55mm kit
Canon 75 – 300 MM Zoom
I used macro extension bellows for flowers and snail.

its edited in final cut pro and colour graded in Adobe after effects CS5 – i’m very impressed with the video recording on this entry level Canon 500D camera. No audio inputs in this one (this camera does record audio, but with an on board mic, so quality isn’t good) so if you want to use it for a short film, use an external DAT/sound recorder and a Clapper Board.
If you are really into the video side of the DSLR cameras then the new Canon 550D looks very impressive to me as it has an audio input connection so that you can use an external microphone.

Holidays are wonderful days in which, one spend time having fun, doing partying , eating good food, drinks and anything and everything good you can think of. Well I had to pay the price for my bad behaviour and turn my beautiful holiday in too a Horror story.

My molar tooth had been giving me trouble for last one year and I being me simply neglected it.
Today I had to go to the dentist as it could would cost a lot in Uk and I thought it would be easy and cheap to get it fixed in Malta.
After Dr Chris gave my teeth a good inspection, he had a big grin on his face and suggested an X-ray, after the X-ray As i expected my molar tooth had really gone bad and could not be saved anymore as the hole was very deep. So, what to do, he had to get rid of it. The first step is the anaesthetics. The injection needle in your gum is the reason why many people avoid themself to see the dentist; the needle was quite painful but only for a few moments. After that, i couldn’t feel anything as my mouth went numb. Then came the hardest & the scariest part, pulling the tooth. As the upper surface has broken, he had to dig quite deep so he can find a firm part to pull out the tooth. The dentist had to pull as hard as he could & it took him some time. The tooth broke in few parts Dr chris gave up and then came the new left handed Doc who said he would be good at it as he is left handed and it would be easy for him’ it took few minutes but he pulled the remaining tooth out.

Came back home and spent all the last evening in Malta in bed .Accompanied by Simon throwing pain killers in my mouth and a remote control, I faded in and out of three hours of Discovery channel.
This experience has made me want to say two things. First, please floss! I know, it’s a pain, but it’s more painful not to.

My 1st Wreck Dive – HMS Hellespont – Paddle Steamer. Malta, Valletta

Ever since I saw movie Titanic, I wanted to dive at a wreck site. And finally today it was just such a day.

Just a bit of a fact about the wreck.

HMS Hellespont – Paddle Steamer

Robust-class deep sea rescue paddle wheeled steamer tug was built in England and launched on the 10th May 1910. After first working years in England HMS Hellespont came to Malta in 1922 and worked in the seas around the Maltese Islands for the next twenty years. On the night of the 6/7 April 1942 she was sunk by German/Italian aircraft, she was deemed beyond repair and was towed to Grand Harbour and scuttled. Maximum Depth is 41 metres.
Visibility wasn’t great but the fun part of the dive was going through ships decks, oh and I did see some sort of yellow eel.
My first ever wreck Dive in Malta was quite fun not as much I thought it would be, as I could not see much of the sea life around the Wreck and Water was also 18 degrees cold.

I just can’t wait for my next wreck dive tomorrow.

Its My Birthday – WooHooo!

I’m proud to share my birthday with the remembrance day on the 11th November ill wear my poppy with pride. those who gave their lives in WWI deserve our gratitude and not just them but all the all wars deserve the recognition (not of glory but of the and World war horror they involve).
i always love celebrating birthday for me its more than just cebrating a birthday its celebrating life and i want to embrace my life. Anyway here’s the plan.

10th Nov - Alabama 3 gig in London
11th - Lunch and Dinner with some very Special people in my life (Shweta and Iain)Oh yea, I almost forgot……… IM GOING PARIS FOR THE WEEKEND :P From 13th -15th Nov Time to celebrate many many good things 2009 has brought to me!
